After freeing him from his rust prison and helping him move and speak again, he tells her his sad story that he felt empty inside because the tinsmith who made his body forgot to add a heart. Based on the original 1900 novel, considered the first North American adventure, set on a farm in the Kansas countryside, the story's protagonist, Dorothy, an orphan girl in her early teens, and her pet dog Toto, are swept away by a hurricane along with their house. Sucked into the heart of the storm, the house spins until it lands and Dorothy realizes that she is not in Kansas anymore and that she must have crossed the rainbow. She finds herself in a place with bright blue skies, beautiful green hills, tall trees with juicy fruits and giant flowers in a wonderful landscape. Glinda, the beautiful Good Witch of the North, appears right in front of her and tells her that she is in the magical land of Oz and that her house fell on the Wicked Witch of the East and killed her. In search of the way back to Kansas, Dorothy follows the Yellow Brick Road and seeks the Emerald City, where the Wizard of Oz lives, the only one who can help her, according to Glinda. Along the way, she finds a talking Scarecrow, a tin man, and a cowardly lion who join her in her search for the wizard, each with a personal wish to ask him. But on this journey, they will have to face the Wicked Witch of the West, who aims to recover her sister's ruby ​​slipper and use their power to become the most powerful being in Oz.
