In a hole in the ground lived a hobbit.

Bright round doors in summery hues adorn the lush, grassy hillsides of Hobbiton like wild flowers. Behind every doorway, comfortably furnished dens wind into the ground: each one home to a hobbit or a family of the Shire's rosy little folk.

Each hobbit hole is unique and expresses the personality of the inhabitants with colors, gardens, furniture and everyday rustic waste.

Beneath the wealthy smials of Bagshot Row and the sprawling mansion of Bag End, Hill Lane snakes around the folds of the lower slopes of the Hill, home to some of Hobbiton's humbler hobbit dwellings. Number 2A, with its beautiful turquoise door, is one of these smaller but nonetheless beautiful holes. It is said that on a warm summer evening the hobbit who lives there can be seen enjoying a well-deserved Southfarthing ale.

Each individual home, the Hobbit holes are excellent for creative placement in your closet. With a flat back and shallow depth of only 55 mm, they can be placed on mantles, cornices, shelves and in windows.

This beautiful little environment is an exacting miniature replica of the movie set that can be visited at Hobbiton in Matamata, New Zealand. It was designed by the same artists and craftsmen who worked on the film.
